John Brownhill

CO-FOUNDER

 John has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry where he spent 10 years working in Senior Management roles for Oracle Corporation and is currently a Management Consultant.   The idea for Food4Heroes came as the first lockdown was announced. Working with his sister Amanda Guest who owns a catering company, John quickly formed a large team and created the infrastructure which allowed Food4Heroes to scale so rapidly and so successfully.

Amanda Guest

CO-FOUNDER

Amanda has over 30 years’ experience in the catering industry and runs Guest Dining, a successful venue for private dining and pop-up events in Farnley Tyas. When her brother John came up with the idea of feeding the NHS staff, Amanda enlisted the help of colleagues, chefs and volunteers in the catering world and coordinated the preparation and logistics of delivering fresh and nutritious meals to the NHS staff in the hospitals in the North of England. 

Tom Ingham Clark

DIRECTOR

Tom is a former British army officer who has subsequently worked almost exclusively in the wealth management sector, managing teams of bankers and until recently, was Managing Director of the stock broking business, EFG Harris Allday. He has been a Trustee at The Clothworkers’ Foundation and now is a member of the Court of Assistants of the same Livery Company.

Rick Haslam

Director

Rick Haslam has extensive and proven experience in delivering business change, transformation and growth projects for organisations in the health, wellbeing and insurance sector.  Rick has been self-employed for over 10 years and has a portfolio of clients and NED/trustee roles – prior to setting up his own business Rick has worked for leading brands including Hilton, Cigna and Nuffield Health.

Chris Rees

Advisor

Chris had a successful 20 year career in the IT industry first at IBM then followed by several start-ups including ip.access . His career was cut short in 2008 when he was diagnosed with Myeloma. Throughout his ongoing treatment he keeps as active mentally and physically as he can and is supporting food4heroes on a part time voluntary basis when possible, with his extensive business knowledge, start-up experience and contacts. Chris has become passionate about food and nutrition through his work with the team here and is loving the time he can spend with food4heroes helping to tackle food poverty.
